What are eSpaceTickets?
eSpaceTickets.com was founded in the year 2000 with the goal to give everyday ordinary people the opportunity to journey to space. Over the years we have tried to create various innovative programs to accomplish this goal.
All great journeys begin with a single step. Astronauts and cosmonauts routinely venture into space via the Space Shuttle and Russian Soyuz rocket, but ordinary people have not had the opportunity to take the next step.
The next step is to make space travel safer and less costly, and visionary new companies like Virgin Galactic and XCOR Aerospace have become the forefront of the space tourism industry, but space tourism is widely regarded as an undertaking only for the super-wealthy.
Making a Chance at Space Tourism Affordable for Everyone
We believe that everyday people should have the opportunity to go into space, and to that goal we organize local computer recycling events where at least one participant is guaranteed to receive the national, regional or area sponsored space tourism prize. Such a prize ranges from the new Space Shuttle Experience at KSC to a Sub-Orbital Space Flight Experience for one day at the National AeroSpace Training and Research Center (NASTAR Center).
Our goal at eSpaceTickets is to help in organizing and promoting these computer recycling events throughout the State of Florida and across the nation. Winners who receive the Sub-Orbital Space Flight Experience at the NASTAR Center will all compete for the XCOR Aerospace or other sub-orbital space flights.
Another goal is to facilitate the placement of a new spaceport for the 21st century in the community of Jacksonville, Florida, to be located at Cecil Field. We also envision an aerospace training and research center, modeled after the NASTAR Center also to be located at the proposed Cecil Field Spaceport.
The eSpaceTickets Project can help bring space tourism to Jacksonville via this innovative project, which not only benefits the community but also helps everyday people to journey to space.
